The Dwell Kitchen was auctioned off last night to benefit Cystic Fibrosis and I was able to meet the three sisters who are the recipients. The kitchen is going into the youngest girl’s bedroom, and she was over the moon about it. It was so wonderful to see the kids so excited about the kitchen. We completely forgot to bring the camera; it would have been great to get a shot of her with her new kitchen. The kitchen was a very popular item and lots of business cards were taken. The next kitchen I make is going to be a little smaller in size, probably yellow and white with lemon curtains. I’m going to scour Craigslist and my thrift stores this week for a unit to start with.
